Hi @Ameriukiemagnet

Could it be that your shipping zones don’t include the countries where you ship to? Navigate to Settings > Shipping and Delivery, and check that each zone contains active rates and products. Also verify product weights and locations are properly input. When information is absent here, rates can be concealed at checkout.

Hey @Ameriukiemagnet !

This kind of thing can happen, and it’s usually a small setting that needs fixing. Since you’re likely using flat rates, here are a few things worth checking:

  • Make sure your products are assigned to the correct shipping profile.

  • Double-check that the shipping zones in that profile include your customer’s country or region.

  • Confirm that there’s at least one flat rate set up under the correct shipping zone that covers your customer’s location.

  • Make sure the flat rate conditions (like weight or price ranges, if set) actually match the items in the cart, if they don’t, the rate won’t show.

  • Make sure the product is marked as a physical product and has a shipping weight, even if you’re not using weight-based rates.

  • Check that the location fulfilling the order is connected to the shipping profile and active for online sales.

  • Lastly, take a quick look at your Markets settings (under Settings > Markets) and ensure the customer’s country is part of an active market.

Once you’ve gone through these, try doing a test checkout to see if the rates show up again. If you’re unsure about where to find any of this, I can help walk you through it step by step!

Hi @Ameriukiemagnet ,

No worries, it’s easy to get tripped up with Shopify’s shipping settings. I’ve seen this happen when one of these things is off:

  1. Missing shipping zone - Double-check that your active shipping rates are assigned to the correct zones (like United States, or wherever you’re selling).

  2. No rates under the zone - Sometimes you save the zone, but forget to add the actual rate. Go to Settings > Shipping and delivery > General shipping profile, then scroll to your zone and click “Add rate.”

  3. Product not assigned to a shipping profile - If the product isn’t linked to the right shipping profile, no rates will show at checkout. Make sure the product is included in your general or custom shipping profile.

  4. Conflicting app or manual rate logic - If you’re using a shipping app or have rules like free shipping over X amount, check that they’re not overriding or blocking your main rate.

Once your rates are showing again, it might help to think about the post-purchase experience too. If customers are unsure about shipping timelines, tools like ParcelPanel Order Tracking can give them a branded page to track their order with real-time updates (which helps cut down on “Where is my order?” messages).

Let me know what you’re seeing on your end and I can help walk through the settings with you
