As a former Shopify merchant, I built CustomPix to solve a frustrating issue: when using the “Facebook and Instagram” app, the wrong product image was often pulled into the catalog (e.g. wrong aspect ratio or not optimized for catalog ads), with no way to change that behavior.
With CustomPix, you can control which image is used — either by setting simple rules (e.g. “use the second product image by default”) or by selecting any image manually from your gallery. Your storefront stays untouched.
The app is planned to be listed in the future — for now, we’re offering free private beta access to the first 100 shops.
We’re especially looking for feedback during this phase to help shape and improve the app.
