Non-US Resident Targeting or Selling to US Customers

Hi! Is this still viable? :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Non-US Resident Targeting or Selling to US Customers

I am from the Philippines and I want to target or sell to US customers. My problem is that I am not a US citizen and can’t acquire a SSN to set-up Shopify Payments. My only option is to get a US LLC, and from that, acquire an EIN and business bank account. But Shopify requires a physical business address with proof of operation or like a utility bill, to activate.

My plan is to pre-order my products and use a 3PL like CJDropshipping to fulfill the orders. Is it possible to use my 3PL’s address as my business address for Shopify Payments and business bank account? I need help/answers ASAP! TYIA.

Best,
Joshua

Hey @joshuaogang Yes, this is still viable! Setting up a US LLC and getting an EIN is a great option for targeting US customers. However, for Shopify Payments, Shopify typically requires a physical address linked to your business, not a 3PL address, to meet verification requirements. You might consider using a virtual business address service that offers utility bills or mail forwarding to fulfill this requirement.
