Not receiving emails from a contact Form

Hello,

After 2024 Jan 1, we are not receiving any emails, when people send a message to us from Contact form. We are using GMAIL. Our email domain is authenticated. Can anyone help what should we do, to receive the emails from contact form? Maybe we need to set up some settings in gmail? I can’t find any proper information about that.

  • Verify Email Settings: Ensure the contact form on the website is configured correctly. Check that the recipient email address is set to the correct Gmail account.
  • Test the Form: Send a test message through the contact form to see if the issue persists.
  • Spam Folder: Check your Spam folder. Sometimes, legitimate emails from forms are flagged as spam.
  • Filters: Check if any Gmail filters are inadvertently archiving or deleting emails from the contact form.
  • Mark as Safe: If emails are found in Spam, mark them as “Not Spam” to train Gmail.

The contact form works well, no errors. Also no emails in spam folder. We were receiving emails until Jan 1 of 2024. After some kind of update on google or shopify, we stopped receiving.

In this case Shopify support fixed the problem.
