Old Price has Disappeared - Impulse Theme

for some unknown reason, my compare price has disappeared everywhere on my website and I am only left with the discounted one. I can’t show the old vs new price which affects the conversion rate of my website. Can anyone help with this?

Hi, @JordanM . I’m happy to look into this with you! I just have a few questions to make sure I give you accurate advice.

  • When did you first notice this? For example, did you make any changes to your products or theme before this disappeared?
  • Are both your Price and Compare-at price settings still set up in your product detail settings to show your products as being on sale?
  • If you preview your store with different themes does the correct pricing appear or are you seeing the same issue?

the compare price disappeared few months ago, I had no time to investigate the issue. The theme settings are all set correctly and should show current and discounted price. In fact when I open my website theme editor page both prices are appearing correctly, however when I open the website in a browser the compare price does not show. I have tried multiple browsers, cleaning cache and history, multiple devices, price still don’t show up.

i tried downloading the newest version of impulse theme without any changes made to the code and still the compare price does not appear. I will private message you my website url.

If your product settings are set up according to this guide and you are seeing your regular and sale price displayed correctly in your theme editor, it should definitely be appearing correctly on your storefront.

If you preview your store with a different theme are you seeing this same issue or is it only happening with the Impulse theme? For example, if you preview your store with a free theme created by Shopify instead of Impulse, is your pricing being displayed correctly? If not, it might be an issue with something other than the theme you’re using. In that case, you would want to speak with our support team through the Help Center so we can look into it with you. If your pricing is appearing correctly with other themes, but not working with Impulse, that is when you will want to speak to the theme developer for Impulse. You can find their contact information under the Support and documentation tab in the theme store listing here. The screenshot below can show you where on the page you will find this tab.
