When customer places orders from our Shopify Store, Shopify automatically sends Order Confirmation Emails to customers. The problem is that, emails are going into “Promotions” Tab rather than “Primary” Tab. It increases chances of customer missing the Order Confirmation Email.
How can we fix that?

Hyde here from Shopify.
The tabs you are referring to are a Gmail feature, over which Shopify does not strictly have any control.
That said, I did find some suggestions on how to try to avoid ending up in the “promotions tab” right here that may help.
Perhaps the best bit of advice in that link, in my opinion, is this:
Ultimately, beyond what is listed in the link I provided, there is not much else Shopify can do to control how notifications are filed at the recipient’s end.
