Order placed ,payment made but seller did not give me the details of my order

the seller did not give me the notification of order confirmation …and i’ll paid 9700 rs to seller..

To be clear, Shopify does not play a role in the operations of businesses that are hosted on our platform, and we’re unable to confirm if a store is hosted on our platform or not. As such, I can give you some information on where the order confirmation may have gone IF this store was to operating on our platform.

Typically, when an order has been purchased, an order confirmation is sent via email, or text message, to the purchaser, depending on the information they provided in the checkout. Most of the time, folks are checking out online, and provide their email, so this is usually where these order confirmations end up. I recommend that you check your email inbox, as well as your junk and spam folders, for any emails from the shop you purchased from. I also recommend looking for any text messages you may have received related to the shop, and your purchase, as well! Checking their website for additional contact information is also something you should do, as most sites have this sort of information available to ask questions about placed orders.

If you can’t find any information in your inbox or texts, and you’re unable to find additional information on the website in terms of getting in touch with the business you purchased product from, then I recommend that you talk with your bank about the transaction. Your bank should be able to assist you with looking into your transaction, and may potentially help you reclaim any spent funds via a chargeback, if you feel sceptical about your order. I would encourage you to take a look at the information I provided in my initial reply to your situation. My reply holds a lot of helpful and useful information to help you follow up with the seller regarding your order. I will reiterate the most important information once more for you below.

As Shopify does not play a role in the daily operations of businesses that may be hosted on our platform, you will want to follow up with the seller directly to inquire about any orders.

Typically when an order is placed, an order confirmation email is sent to the purchaser, which is you in this situation. Check your email, including your junk and spam, to see if you received this notification. They may also be delivered by text, so check your texts as well. If you received no such notifications, then going to their website to find additional contact information is what you’ll want to do to follow up with them.

Lastly, if their is no additional contact information, or you’ve reached out already and haven’t heard back from them and it’s been longer than 30 days, I recommend speaking to your bank about your purchase so they can help you claim any spent funds by route of a chargeback against the business.
