Hi, my shopify payments has been on hold since 16th of June without any further update. 3 weeks now? This is insane for a standard review. We need to pay for orders etc, so contacting support is what I did. Last week someone told me they are now actively reviewing my hold, 1 week later still no update. I contact support again today and I have to hear from this person that they are still not busy with my hold. This lack of communication coupled with no updates about my own earned money, how is this even possible?

Based on experience, Shopify payments on-hold status will take some time to be resolved depending on their department’s queue as well. Since they are the only one that are authorized to check your account status, the best course of action as of now, is to keep an open communication with their team.
So keep contacting the live support? On Monday it will be 4 weeks hold now.
Did you ever get this resolved? We are currently dealing with this right now with no resolution.
My hold is still not resolved. Im waiting until the end of tomorrow else I will start something with my legal team. 4 week hold for a standard review with no further update is insane.
Yes, Completely unacceptable. We keep getting the same generic replies from the support advisors just worded slightly different and no resolution.
