I need a report based on completed sales broken down by payment type. I am using Shopify in a retail setting but without the POS or Retail plan.

We repair bicycles, our workshop software is integrated with Shopify and sends draft orders through for the work and parts that have been used on each job. The customer then pays in-store using cash or a third-party card terminal, so no payments are processed by Shopify.

I have set up Manual Payment Methods, eg Cash, Card, and Gift Card which we select when marking the order as paid; but I can’t find a report that gives the total for all transactions paid with a specific type over a time period. If I take ten card payments then the Payments by Type report lists ten different lines, I just want one line with the total.

Is this possible?

Payment by Provider:
Export this report and insert a pivot table to generate a summary of payment methods. You can select the sales channel as “Draft Orders” to view the totals of all payment methods used (see the sample screenshot for reference). However, this report does not have a default date field to filter totals by date in the CSV or Excel file—you must select the date range during export.
