Our store participates in a lot of farmers markets, and because we are a LLC we need to be able to keep track of ALL cash purchases, but we are having a difficult time finding a report that shows a comparison of our card and cash purchase totals. We use Shopify POS at the Farmers market and then when we have orders through our website, we just have to mark as paid and tag & comment as cash purchase.
You can see all sales for a particular sales channel using an of the sales reports. This can help you isolate your POS versus web sales.
If you are specifically looking to isolate cash payments from non-cash you can use the Financial/Payments report and it shows a breakdown of payments by payment method.
With Cube Reports you can group your sales by âpayment gatewaysâ (Cash should be âCash on Deliveryâ) and visualize data cubes (multidimensional reports) through pivot tables or charts for business intelligence.
Please, let me know if you want to try the App, weâre offering 3 months of free usage for unlimited orders.
It seems that your question was answered. I would like to add that you can also you shopify apps to get this kind of report. One such app is Ecomsolo, where you can get your sales by sales channel or by payment type easily and it has other cool features also..
