I have relatively new store and I have not been able to receive any payout since starting business in late August. I’ve tried contacting shopify and there’s no # to call
Hi @ROSE74
I am sorry to hear you haven’t received any payouts since starting your store. This usually happens if your Shopify Payments account isn’t fully set up or verified yet, which can delay payouts. To fix this, double-check your payment and verification info in the Shopify admin under Payments, and make sure all required documents are submitted. Since Shopify doesn’t offer phone support, the best way to get help is through their live chat or email support often found in the Help Center.
There are a few common reasons why Shopify payouts might not be coming through. These can include incorrect bank details, a pending account review after setup or bank changes, a mismatch in currency between your bank and Shopify, or the minimum payout threshold not yet being met.
Here’s a quick checklist to help troubleshoot:
-
Check Settings > Payments in your Shopify admin, then click Manage next to Shopify Payments. If there’s a banner asking for additional documents or tax information, you’ll need to complete those steps to start receiving payouts.
-
Verify your bank account details for accuracy. Even a small typo, such as a wrong digit or mismatched name, can cause deposit failures.
-
Look for any notifications from Shopify. These could show up under the notification bell in your admin or in your email (check your spam or junk folder as well). Sometimes, new accounts are temporarily held for review by Shopify’s risk team.
