Hey everyone,
I’m running into a frustrating issue on my Shopify store related to PayPal checkout. When a customer (or I during testing) tries to pay with PayPal, the site opens a new tab like it’s about to redirect to PayPal — but then the tab closes almost immediately. It never loads the PayPal login screen, and the customer is just left back at the checkout page without any error message or confirmation.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Tested on different browsers and devices

Cleared cache and cookies

Disabled ad blockers and pop-up blockers

Ensured PayPal Express is set up correctly in Shopify

Checked PayPal settings (but not sure what the correct Return URL should be or if that’s even necessary)
I’m not sure if this is a theme issue, an integration problem, or something on PayPal’s end. Any help or insight would be seriously appreciated — especially if someone has run into the same thing before!
