Such a great idea to add and use custom fonts for your store! If you aren’t comfortable with coding, the easiest way to add custom fonts is by installing a third-party app. There are a few apps on our Shopify App Store here that can help you achieve this. I did a bit of search on my end and was able to find a couple that you might be interested in, feel free to take a look at them:
Just a note that these apps are made by third-party developers outside of Shopify. So if you need more information about each respective app’s functionality, I recommend getting in touch with the app developers as they’d be best equipped to answer app specific questions.
Are you also using a third-party theme for your store by any chance? If you are, you might find that the theme’s website has instructions on how to add custom fonts directly onto your theme’s coding. For example, one of our Theme Partners, Out of the Sandbox, has a guide here on how their theme users can implement custom fonts via coding. If you’re not familiar with coding, I do recommend that you instead opt for one of the third-party apps above to help you add your custom fonts. If not, you can also reach out to and hire one of our Shopify Experts, if you prefer that the font be implemented directly onto your theme’s coding.
Adding custom fonts for your store is a really great strategy to improve your store design, and create a more personalised and memorable branding for your business. When it comes to designing your store and adding custom bits and pieces along the way, you might find that sometimes it’s best to do things yourself, while on others it’s best to hand things over to the experts for additional help. If you tend to lean more towards the DIY side, take a look at our Shopify blog here on some tips and tricks on DIY store design.
Let me know how you get on with the information above! I’d be happy to help if you have any other questions.
