HER ARE FACTS: No Sales/Revenue, after spending $7,000 on my store, since October 2024 I AM BROKE
1.) My very first order came down flagged as “High Risk” order, so I knew the order was a high risk order, upon arrival.
2.) This order NEVER transferred to my bank account. I have checked and cross-checked on my bank statement on and around the date of arrival, it NEVER transferred or posted on my bank account.
3.) Moreover, I purchased an item that cost $13.58 from my store on October 27, 2024, to TEST my store for order and product purchase. The money immediately cleared, since I used my bank ATM, and the money was withdrawn immediately. See attached file below.
4.) To this day, hour, minute and second, I HAVE NOT received the order that I purchased.
5.) Between December 1, 2024, and today, February 14, 2025, I have had $35, 347.37 in sales in “Processed” status in the Shopify system. However, this “Payouts from Shopify Payments are on hold”. I was told by the Shopify Help Center live chat last night that I need to update my bank account information first, which I did.
6.) Upon updating my bank information, the system automatically set the next payment date for $225.41 for February 21, 2925. Again, this is yet, another attempt to collect a "chargeback"money that I NEVER received. WHY?
7.) Let’s assume, for argument’s sake, that I owe Shopify the $225.41, I am hereby permitting Shopify to deduct from the $35,347.37 sales that completed and processed from my store, and release the remaining balance of $35,121.96 to my bank account. This is only fair.
98) Shopify MUST insist that I pay back the $225.41 that I NEVER received, then I will concede this argument and make that payment right away, only if Shopify agrees to release the payout and transfer the sales balance of $35,121.96 to my bank account, immediately after I pay the $225.41.
9. Please know that I have spent over $7,000.00 on this business, literally building and focussing on my store EVERY DAY, since its inception in October 2024.
10.) As if all the spending is not enough, I have been paying my monthly dues for my Shopify Account. When I didn’t, because the business ran me broke, the Billing team kept sending me notifications and eventually froze both my store and my Shopify account.
11.) I borrowed $398 ($194 x 2 months), two days ago to restore my store and regain access to my Shopify Account.
12.) As if all that is not enough, I am being tod to pay another $225.41 that I NEVER OWED, in order to release my $35,347.37 sales made from my store and my $6,000.00+ investment, so far, with $0 in my bank account.
13.) TO THIS DAY, HOUR, MINUTE AND SECOND, I HAVE MADE $0 ROI. This is VERY FRUSTRATING, TO SAY THE LEAST. IT HAS LITERALLY RUN ME AND MY FAMILY BROKE, NOT TO TALK OF THE TOUGH SACRIFICE AND INCONVENIENT MADE, ESPECIALLY DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SEASON… I DO NOT PLAN TO WASTE ANY MORE MONEY I DON’T HAVE. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND AND LET’s SEE HOW WE CAN RESOLVE THIS VERY UGLY SITUATION.

NO. I DID NOT GET ANY ANSWER I NEED. I AM DEEPLY FRUSTRATED, DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED IN SHOPIFY. HELP CENTER/SUPPORT IS A WASTE OF TIME, NO HUMAN COMMUNICATION/INTERACTION, I AM GETTING CHARGED AND PAYING FOR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL, FOLLOWING OVER $7,000.00 OF EXPENDITURE INVESTMENT ON MY STORE. I HAVE NOT MADE A PENNY OUT OF IT. I AM FLATLY BROKE. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT YOUR “CUSTOMERS/ INVESTORS.
