Please help! Shopify won't grant me access to my store

Hi everyone. I’m desperate and that’s why I’m writing here in hope that someone can help me.

Last week I noticed I can’t log into my account. The password is accepted, the sms code is accepted but it asks me about a 10 digit code that has been sent to my mail. Unfortunately none of the mailes reaches my inbox. Yes, I checked the spam folder as well. I have tried to use my recovery codes I downloaded upon setting up the store - again none of them is being accepted.

It has been a week since my first message to support; I have been begging them to makes this case an urgent matter and everyone promises the same thing without anything actually happening. Yesterday I got a message that they have removed the 2-step authorisation and everything should work now. I tried to log in and nothing has changed, the 2 step authorisation and demand for 10 digit code is still there!! I answered straight away to the consultant and informed that he didn’t fix anything and now it has been over 24 hours, still no answer!! :person_pouting:

I mean what is going on! I pay nice bucks every single month and due to som glitch caused by Shopify I am the one spending hours on begging support to fix this matter and no-one gives a singl f**k. I have a meeting with DHL technician tomorrow and leave abroad for other work and if this problem won’t be solved now I will need to postpone so many plans with the store that I don’t even know where to start :confounded_face:

Am I actually speaking to real people or is it just an AI scam cause normal customer service does not work like that?!

Is it possible or have any option to change your email now! if yes I will suggest to do that. I did that once. Also do check the status of your shopify account I mean its live or not. Try to connect in call with shopify support team not by email.

My store is live but I am not able to login as admin. It’s not possible to
change email without having access to the admin panel..

Good luck trying to get an answer! They closed every support channel and we have been waiting over a month to hear from them! We sent 15 emails and not a single reply!

Oh my goodness, is that true?! So you are also paying every month and they
won’t grant you access to your own store? This is criminal!
Turns out Shopify is another scam company and I regret choosing them.

I am so stressed and upset that I can’t even describe with words; all my
work and all the job I’ve put in not the store and website is priceless :downcast_face_with_sweat:
