Possible scam

I recently received this email about my store performance and I’m not sure if it is real or not. I replied to the first email asking what issues needed to be resolved and then I got a second email of issues and then a link to chat with someone on telegram app. Is this legit?

Shopify doesn’t send these emails generally, This might be some fraudulent activity avoid such things.
And since you mention “I got a second email of issues and then a link to chat with someone on telegram app.”
Don’t click on any such links.

  • Shopify uses *@shopify.com emails and avoids Telegram chats.
  • Legit emails wouldn’t be vague and pushy.

Don’t click links!

  • Forward the email to Shopify security ([email address removed]).
  • Mark it as spam.
  • Check your Shopify admin panel for real notifications.

Had a similar email to, and it was linked to telegram.

New scam! Everyone please watch out.

I received similar email about intellectual property breach and asked which intellectual property i breached and for who? The i received another email with a link to telegram.Claiming that is where I could get assistance from the expert. Clicked it but requested managing my call then I didn’t go farther past first screen and that is why chose to come here for advice.
