PostNL shipping status does not update

PostNL (Dutch carrier) shipment status on the backend does not update and keeps the status “on its way”. Next to that when you add the parcel number the tracking leads to the postnl homepage (which might be the source of the problem as via that way Shopify is unable to get a correct status).

Is PostNL (Dutch carrier) a 3rd party fulfillment service or you use a public app?

If so . I think you should ask for the service/public app provider to solve it .

Actually its both.

  1. When i plugin the tracking number shopify recognises this to be PostNL and creates a link (that leads to the homepage)

  2. When I use the third party agency (same PostNL now with a middle man) creates a link that works

But in both case the shipping status in the thank you page is not updated. Maye since shopify in situation 1 creates the wrong tracking link so it cannot parse the status and in situation 2 it goes outside the shopify system.
