Products not showing up on collection pages

Hello! I have had 100’s of products listed in various collections on my site. Everything has been working fine. Then, today, all of a sudden, none of my products are showing up under collections. They all look fine from the back side.

I have checked and all are published correctly. As I said, these were all showing fine until about two hours ago.

When you click on any of them, they are all blank!

I am kinda freaking out because I sent a newsletter announcement this morning advertising my website re-lanch and Labor Day Sale. Had several sales then, people started writing that the product sections are blank.

I have searched through the messages for this issue and none of the replies are pertinent to me.

Hi, @CuddleCat . I’m happy to look into this with you! I just have a couple of questions to make sure I’m giving you helpful advice going forward.

  • Which theme are you currently using?
  • Did you make any recent changes to your theme before noticing this issue?

I took a look at your store using the link you shared and noticed that on your collection pages the products are actually there, but they are just not visible. If you hover over where the product grid should be on collection pages, you’ll notice that your cursor changes to be able to select products when they are hovered over. If you click where a product should be, you’ll be brought to the product page. This tells me that your products and collections are likely set up correctly, but something is preventing it from being displayed correctly.

To test this I recommend previewing your online store with a new theme that you have not edited. You can add a new free theme from the theme store here. To preview a theme once it’s added to your account, you’ll want to go to Online store > Themes in your Shopify admin and click > Preview next to the theme you want to preview. You can also find the steps to preview themes explained here. If your products are showing up correctly when you preview this new theme, but not with your currently published theme, this points to the issue being related to your current theme file. If the products are not visible with the new theme as well, this points to the issue being caused by something else and we would need to look into it further.

Thank you for the reply. I’m using the Craft theme. There have been a lot of changes in the past two weeks as I’ve been updating my site. However, everything was displaying fine this morning, then about noon, they disappeared. I did not do anything on the site this morning. I had two sales, then after I started getting emails from customers saying the products weren’t there.

My issue has been taken care of. There was a conflict in the code of my theme.

Can you show how you fixed it? I’m also using the Craft theme and for my collections, it says 15 of 34 items showing. I try to change the filters but nothing is working also.
