We are using Recharge for subscriptions and are considering switching to legacy customer accounts in Shopify. However, after enabling legacy customer accounts, the Recharge subscriptions are not visible anymore in the customer portal.
We have set customer accounts to legacy in Shopify settings.
Customers can log in, but there is no “Manage Subscription” link in their account.
Recharge support mentioned that subscriptions should be accessible with legacy accounts, but I can’t see them.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? How can I make sure that customers can view and manage their subscriptions directly from their Shopify customer accounts?
I was able to set it up so that when you click on “My Account,” a hamburger menu opens. From there, clicking on “Account Settings” takes you to a page where orders are listed (see attached image).
On that page, I managed to add a link to subscriptions by creating a section and using the app within it. However, ideally, I would like this link to be directly in the hamburger menu itself (see image).
I’m not familiar with the Ella thema, but I reckon the sidebar must ether by configured via a menu (Content->Menus in Shopify Admin) and then you create a new item in there which links to /tools/recurring/login - that should do the trick.
