I would like to remove the clickable order tracking link that appears right above the order status. I wouldn’t mind the number being there, I just don’t want the link. I will be using apps to communicate to buyers about the tracking, and I don’t want buyers to click and go on a third party website to track the product that’ll show them every single detail of where the product has been. I tried looking at the cutomization of the order status page via Settings>Checkout>Customize and then choosing the order status page, but it doesn’t have a configuration for it. And it seems like there is no “Edit Code” option.

At this time, it’s only possible for merchants on the Basic, Shopify, and Advanced Subscription Plans to customize their Order Status and Thank You pages via the ‘Settings > Checkout > Customize’ steps within their admin. If you take these steps and do not see an option to hide, remove or edit that specific tracking link, that is because such a customization isn’t currently supported. I’m happy to go ahead and ship a feedback request on your behalf to our Developers so they can be made aware that being able to remove or hide this link on this page would be valuable to you and your business. I can’t promise what the outcome of me sharing that feedback will be, but you can trust that the appropriate folks here at Shopify will see it!
