Saved Carts are sending out Abandoned Carts emails

Hey!

I’m playing around with Shopify POS and came across this issue:

I picked a customer (myself), added some stuff to the cart. Then I saved the cart, before I deleted everything that was in the cart. Basically just trying to find out how saved carts work in Shopify POS.

In the next 30 mins, Shopify established 4 new carts in abandoned carts, and then sent me 4 abandoned carts emails. I guess Shopify POS created a new cart ID/Number every time I opened or closed my saved cart.

How do I make sure that this doesn’t happen?

Oh…wow. I had just turned it on but I am going to go back and turn off the abandoned cart email automations. I can’t have that happen. I prepare orders for customers on Shopify POS all the time and I certainly don’t want them updated!!
