Hello, I made a purchase on June 7, then got a confirmation e-mail and on June 13 I got an update that the shipment is on its way and a tracking number: GL03654002002, but it seems that it was a fake one. Since then I made a couple of attempts to contact the seller asking for information - via email, via contact form, but I never heard from him. A month have passed and I need your help. I paid with a debit card, so I’m skeptical about the chances of getting my money back.

As Shopify is a platform that hosts online businesses, we do not manage or ship the orders ourselves. Since each business operates independently, it would be best to reach out to the business that you made the purchase from. Typically, the online store will have a Contact Us option towards the footer of the store. They would be in the best position to provide you with additional information about your order.
However, if you are unable to successfully get in touch with the business, I would suggest speaking with your bank or credit card company and bringing this to their attention. They will have processes aimed to retrieve your funds for the purchase made.
As I told you, I tried a couple of ways to contact the “business”, but with zero result. I’ll try to get my money back with my bank, but Shopify platform is hilarious. Other platforms have different ways of protecting the customers from scammers, while you don’t!
