Seeking Assistance with Updating Shopify Icon Theme from Version 10.1.1 to 10.2

Hello Community,

I am currently using the Icon theme, specifically version 10.1.1, on my Shopify store. Recently, version 10.2 of the theme has been released. However, I have encountered difficulties while attempting to update from version 10.1.1 to 10.2.

The challenge I am facing is that the update process is taking an extended amount of time, and despite my efforts, the theme remains unchanged at version 10.1.1. This is particularly concerning as I have made custom edits to the code of version 10.1.1, and I want to ensure that these edits are retained or appropriately transferred to version 10.2.

Could someone please provide guidance or assistance on how to successfully update the theme to version 10.2 while preserving the custom code edits?

Hi @amanphalswal If the theme is showing the issue when you are updating it then regarding this you need to connect with your theme support, they can help you out in this issue.

Also regarding the custom coding: Whenever you update the theme, the custom code that you have added will never move to the new theme automatically, you need to transfer your custom code manually, Themes doesn’t take the responsibility of transferring the code to the new version.
