Seller's site cannot be reached and order has been in limbo for months

I have made two orders to a Shopify site called “animarket.place”. There website cannot be accessed any more, resulting in my order confirmation links not working. This prevents me from reporting the issue to Shopify as they require a working confirmation link. I do not know what else to do or who else to call because they have gone off grid and I am left with no product and my money essentially stolen. I can provide evidence of purchase, my order confirmation links, and what not to Shopify staff member upon request.

My order was made late December, orders claimed to be shipped late January without tracking information, emails bounce back, and their Instagram is now gone. I have proof of the conversations I have had through Instagram direct messages with them.

I fully appreciate that ordering something online, only to have it not arrive, can be disappointing. Trust me, we’ve all been there! Shopify is a website and shopping cart service that some merchants use to run their online store, however, we do not manage the shipping or sales of a store.

If you are unable to contact the store owner your next step should be to contact PayPal or your credit card provider for further options regarding your payment and possible refund options. This is the easiest and quickest way to recover the money you have spent. Shopify cannot recover your money for you as we do not operate businesses on behalf of our merchants on the platform.
