Setting up Google Feed rules to remove GTIN,MPN, & Brand from custom item

I have been having trouble with our online stores products syncing to google shopping. The main issue is that

“Limited performance due to missing identifiers [gtin, mpn, brand]” error. My solution was to set up Google feed rules that changes the identifier to false. My test report never completed. Just looking for someone to tell me if these rules are set up right. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information about my issue

So the report did end up finishing, although things were not solved. Does any one have an idea of what went wrong here?

The rule should be:

If gtin is empty clear brand

If gtin is empty clear mpn

if gtin is empty set identifier exists to no

Thank you so much Emmanuel Flossie! Under the drop down I can only select “has no value” Will that have the same effect as “is empty”

looks good

Check the last rule. It’s MPN, not ‘mtn’. :slightly_smiling_face:

Offer @AI11 a glass of champagne for spotting this!

Thanks very much, @EmmanuelFlossie ! Cheers :clinking_glasses:

I created some rules that hopefully will clear the error ‘Same identifier but differing value [item group id]’ for some items.

Firstly, I set up in Shopify, in Custom Label 1, the value ‘1’ for the affected items. Then I created the rules in Google Merchant Centre.

I’ll check the results tomorrow! :crossed_fingers:

Don’t forget to reprocess the data, if you are using content API use this guide: https://feedarmy.com/kb/how-to-reprocess-content-api-in-google-merchant-center/
