Shipping from different zones per product is not working

Hi, i’m having trouble getting my shipping costs to work allocated to each shipping profile for products located in different states.

We have different products located in each of our state based warehouses.

So if customers purchase a product from their state the delivery is free but if they purchase the product not in their state i want to charge a shipping cost. I have created shipping profiles for the products in each state with shipping rates as ‘free’ if in the customer state and ‘shipping charge $80.00’ if not in their state but it doesnt seem to work when i test it. I also have the General shipping set up too. can I have someone check whats gone wrong please?

When using multiple shipping profiles, if orders contain products from different profiles or locations, this will result in combined rates at the checkout. Currently, the only available workaround would be to use an app to set up more specific shipping rules, like Multi Carrier Shipping Label App. You can easily set shipping rates as ‘free’ if in the customer state and ‘shipping charge of $80.00’ if not in their state. Apart from that, you get to set other multiple shipping rules based on your need.
