This is a great question! You can make changes to the name of the admin account by logging into the admin of your store. Once you successfully login, you will need to select on your name located towards the top right of the internal dashboard. This will open a drop down menu and you should be able to select Manage Account. I took a screenshot of my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
If you are unable to make changes to the admin name using this method, I would suggest reaching out directly to our support as we can assist you further with making this change. Since we cannot authenticate you over our public forums, the best and most secure way to speak with a Support Advisor is to login to your store using our Contact Us page. This will allow us to verify you as the store admin before discussing the change of name with our support.

It does not work. My name looks perfect on that account management. However, when it comes to the shopify owner thing they ask for it gives me a different person name that no longer works at the company.
