I am using Shopify Balance where I receive my payouts and make most of my payments. Yesterday I noticed that only a few thousands were left in my account which I thought it has to be a mistake. When I scrolled down, I saw that on July 1st, Shopify had transferred 66k from my Balance account and it is at this moment as pending. The description of the transfer only states “Shopify transfer”, no emails were sent to me, no notifications no justifications, nothing, simply they stole my money from my account without a reason at all. I have this store open since 2018 and I have been operating normally since then, really really upset with them. I contacted support and they said they would investigate this. It’s been 14 hours since then, they haven’t even reached out with an update, SHAMEFUL from them, unacceptable business practice. Now my payments are being rejected and I don’t know what to do, has anyone encountered this problem?

I’m having this same exact issue. Same “Shopify Transfer” on July 1st. All my money was taken out of my account. I contacted support and they said they’ll look into it. Let me know if you get yours resolved. This is very frustrating.
It’s been more than 24 hours and still no update from them. How is this the support of a multi billion dollar company?? I will be definitely switching to another bank after this
