We have been successfully using Shopify Collective for over 2 years now. With over 250 vendors we find that many everyday task are complicated due to the limitations of the app. Even with that in mind it works 90% of the time with no hitches.
Recently we have had some issues with suppliers. Not shipping in a timely manner. Warranty issues where there is slow or no response to customer needs. Poor communication with us when we have questions concerning an order. Most recently it’s been suppliers just breaking the connection with us for no apparent reason.
We offer a suggestion that there should be a way to assign a grade or score to vendors and retailers as it pertains to working on Shopify Collective. That way both parties would be able to see if this is the type of company they want to connect with. We should all make customer service paramount, unfortunately some companies don’t and I would like to know who they are before I connect with them on Collective.
Before I get roasted I know I can go look at the companies reviews, but those can be manipulated so you only see the good ones. Users of Collective, what are your thoughts on this?
