Shopify Ecommerce mobile app - Channel is blank

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Hope this email finds you.

My Name is Nadia Borshek, we are a client using Shopify store. I am writing to you to clarify once case I am facing when using Shopify Ecommerce Mobile app.

I installed and logged in to the shopify ecommerce mobile app vial android mobile, then I created a sales order, the transaction was created correctly and it successfully appeared once listed vial Online web app Store orders (check the image)

I notice that the channel for the created order is empty, how can I distinguish between the orders that are created via online store and the orders created via shopify ecommerce mobile app.

I have a similarly related issue. As of 05/20/2022, some of my orders would have the “sales channel” column left as blank. The difference with my store is that I only sell products on my online store with Shopify (No POS or Mobile app) so I am curious as to what may be occurring. Any help would be nice! thank you

I’m having the same problem. As of a couple days ago some orders come through with the sales channel column left blank. Why is this?

I’ve also had the same issue on multiple stores. Has anyone discovered a reason as to why this is happening?

We have noticed this too - it started for us on Friday evening. In the timeline for orders without anything in the channel field we get “Confirmation #ABCDEF(etc) was generated for this order” but with sales that have the channel as saying Online Store as normal, we get "customers name placed this order on Online Store (checkout #12345etc).

Would be nice to find out why.

FYI…I did a little deep dive on it. I think my problem in not seeing a channel is that the orders with no label I looked at were “subscription refills” where the initial order may have showed the shop, but now due to the subscription not having a channel leaves it blank. I am using @SealSubs by the way. They’re AWESOME. So if you’re looking for a subscription app provider that does right by the customer - CHECK THEM OUT!
