Hello,
I’m shocked that Shopify has disabled Shopify Payments and resulted in loss of sales & revenue.
I checked that it was due to Business Registration needed.
As an independent vendor selling digital works as a hobby and making it available for sale for other interested musicians, I have no business registration to speak of and I doubt I will be able to get one. If this does not get resolved, I might have to ditch Shopify in favour of other e-commerce platforms like GoDaddy.
Can anyone in the community assist me on finding a solution?

With regards to your inquiry, we recommend doing what those red boxes indicate. In this case, to submit a document AND to contact Shopify Support which is our live support team. I recommend doing this first and you can do so by following this link.
You can inform them the kind of business set up that you have so they can recommend what sort of other alternatives you can submit since a business registration is not available.
I have also found this help document that provides all requirements for Shopify Payments per country and provides a list of accepted types of document for verification.
