I am just making another post on this issue since anyone who could give some insight is dead silent on other community posts.
There is a global SEO problem around most Shopify stores. People are complaining here in the community forum, as well I checked many other stores in Google SpeedInsights, and all stores have SEO errors. There is no score, just a red question mark.
There are two errors and I haven’t seen anyone addressing this issue.
Document has a valid hreflang Error!
Document has a valid rel=canonical Error!
Could anyone tell us when we can expect a fix or at least some information on this issue? It’s clearly not an individual store problem, many people already complain and most users just don’t know it yet. I also published a clean, newest version of the paid theme, with no apps on it, and still got the same error. User on the other post reported that they have SEO problems and are getting deranked, it might be related, yet I am not sure…
