I was just checking my webpage speed on https://pagespeed.web.dev/ and noticed that my store is showing 0 at the SEO section, giving me the following errors:
Document has a valid hreflang Error!
Document has a valid rel=canonical Error!
I’ve tried to add to my theme.liquid, but it didn’t change the result. Does anyone have an idea why that might be? It is an issue that I didn’t have yesterday and I haven’t really changed anything on the theme.
I would suggest generating a preview link with a different theme and test that, if you get same error or not ?
Then we can see if its theme issue or something else.
Exactly the same issue here. Today only. I think it could be a shopify wide problem.
Hi @Ishan_Makkar , I just tried your suggestion and I am getting absolutely the same result. So I guess @justtall have a point and might be a Shopify-wide issue. Might also be due to the algorithm upgrade that Google did recently, but regardless of that does anyone know how this could be fixed?
We have the same issue on our site even though we have made no changes to our source code
Our organic traffic has plummeted 70% in the last month… always an eternal struggle …always a fight to stay afloat… but maybe we found the reason why
I wonder if @Shopify_77 is going to do something about that and all of their customers
Okay, I just noticed that there was an update on my theme and after updating it’s back to normal for now.
What was the update
from Dawn 8.0 to Dawn 9.0 theme
