Social media icons on marketing automated email?

Hi, can anyone tell me how to add social media icons to an automated email in ‘Marketing’? I’m editing post purchase thank you automation and can only see a button as an option for social media link. Help please?

This helped me a lot with my problem! Is there a way to make the icons smaller? The icons are showing up to large in my emails.
