@TracyR hey Tracy, I think you should send this email as quickly as you can to the Shopify customer support team so they can help verify or authorize the email. For now, avoid clicking any links and just leave it as it is

Yes, it is a scam. You can forward any phishing messages to Shopify’s safety inbox at safety@shopify.com. But they got hundreds of them most likely
Shopify will never send an email from the Gmail domain. And they purposely add long names with dots to confuse people.
Also, a big red flag is “Kindly” scammers often use it when they want to take your money.
This scam works like this: They first provide “support” to make your store “compliant” and charge for that, of course, but they do not do anything.
They could also find that your computer has some viruses and then install an “anti-virus” with $400 or more year plan, which does more harm than good.
So take care.
