Hi I am newly registered and have not selected a plan. Looking for the Starter plan at £5 per month? Any help in the way to get this as cannot see it anyplace. Thanks

Shopify’s Starter plan is no longer available to new stores, so unfortunately you won’t see the £5/month option when choosing a plan.
It’s only available to merchants who are already on the Starter plan. However, if an existing Starter plan user switches to another plan, they won’t be able to switch back to Starter.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a legitimate way for a newly registered store to sign up for the £5 Starter plan now.
The Starter plan at £5/month was actually discontinued by Shopify back in early 2023, so unfortunately it’s no longer available for new sign-ups, which is why you can’t find it anywhere.
The current entry-level option is the Basic plan, which starts at around £19/month (or less if you pay annually). Here’s a quick tip: if you’re just starting out, Shopify sometimes offers a promotional deal (e.g. £1/month for the first 3 months), worth checking their homepage or reaching out to their support directly to see if any current offers apply to your account.

The Starter plan is focused on selling via links and social media and not so much on running a full online store. Don’t see the £5 option? Head to your Shopify admin at Settings > Plan to view the plans that are available for your account and region. Plan and pricing availability may vary by country and account status. If Starter is not an option, you can start with the trial or plan avalable and check out the upgrade options after your account is fully set up.
