Hello, I am new to the eccomerce space and looking to start a business with my father. In florida, you can organize an llc under the age of 18(I am currently 17). If My dad creates the shopify store and puts it in his name, can I use my llc that I organized that he is not a part of on the shopify store? He does not want to use his social security number to avoid having his income taxed as self employment tax. Do i need to add him as an employee in my llc? Thank you. I also heard that he can create the store and add me as a staff member, I just don’t know how it would work with my llc, because he doesn’t want to put his ssn number just my ein number from the llc.
