Struggling with Shopify Store Setup & Conversions – Need Guidance

I’ve been working on my Shopify store for the past 8 months, but it’s been a tough journey. I’ve spent a lot of money trying to get the right professionals to build and optimize my store, but I keep facing setbacks—whether it’s poor service, scams, or lack of real results. Despite my efforts, conversions remain zero.

What are the best ways to find reliable Shopify experts who genuinely deliver results? And how can I improve my store’s conversion rate without wasting more money? Any insights from those who’ve been through this would be greatly appreciated!

Personally, I delete emails from so called Shopify Experts because they are usually from overseas. You can track the city your visitors are from on Analytics. There are Apps that help with Optimization on the Shopify App store.

I get that! There are definitely a lot of unsolicited emails from so-called ‘experts.’ I always recommend doing thorough research before working with anyone. Tracking visitor data in Analytics is a great tip, and Shopify apps can definitely help with optimization. Have you found any particular apps that worked well for you?

Im not an expert in SEO, but I get my fair share of spam. I am more interested in Tredsii, which is why I came to this thread. Has anyone tried it yet?

I am a Trendsi Partner and I’ve setup thousands of women with them. They are the best. :slightly_smiling_face: If you want help with getting them setup, reach out.

That sounds great! I’d love to hear more about your experience with Trendsi. Do you have any tips for optimizing a store with them?"

Could you be a little more specific with your question?

Finding reliable Shopify experts and improving conversion rates can be challenging, but here are some ways to make smarter choices and see real results:

  1. Use Shopify’s Official Experts Marketplace – Hire vetted professionals from Shopify Partners to avoid scams.
  2. Check Reviews & Past Work – Always ask for case studies, portfolios, and testimonials before hiring. Look for proven success in your niche.
  3. Join Shopify & E-commerce Communities – Engage in Shopify Facebook groups, Reddit threads, and forums where business owners share their experiences and recommend experts.
  4. Start with Small Test Projects – Before committing to a big budget, test the expert with a smaller task to evaluate their quality.
  5. Avoid Too-Good-To-Be-True Offers – Be cautious of cheap services promising instant success. Good optimization takes time and expertise.

Improving Your Store’s Conversion Rate1. Optimize Your Homepage & Navigation – Ensure your website is easy to navigate, with a clear call-to-action (CTA) and fast load speeds.

  1. Improve Product Pages – Use high-quality images, detailed descriptions, customer reviews, and a simple checkout process.
  2. Offer Social Proof – Show customer testimonials, trust badges, and real user-generated content to build credibility.
  3. Simplify the Checkout Process – Reduce cart abandonment by offering guest checkout, multiple payment options, and free shipping if possible.
  4. Leverage Email & SMS Marketing – Capture visitor emails with discounts and use abandoned cart reminders to drive conversions.
  5. Run A/B Testing – Test different headlines, product images, and CTAs to see what converts best.
  6. Use Retargeting – Set up retargeting ads to bring back visitors who didn’t purchase on their first visit.

Improving conversions takes time, but focusing on the right strategies will help you see real results without wasting more money.
