Theme editing works, Editing code never loads

Hey people! Going through a bit of a technical error here. So when I try editing any theme (the one active and any others in my library) in the drag and drop builder it works fine, but when I try to enter the “Edit code” editor, it never loads.

I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting methods. Cleared cache, incognito, and different devices, but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

Go to Online Store > Themes

  1. Click Actions > Download theme file (backup first).

  2. Then Duplicate your theme.

  3. Try opening “Edit code” on the duplicate version.

    • If it loads fine > the original has a large or broken file.

    • You can inspect /config/settings_data.json or /templates/*.json.

Please try above and check if it working or not.
