Theme editor gone

Hi,

I came back from a holiday break and now I can’t edit my current theme in the shopify store. I have checked different device and the issue still there. When I go to Offline Shop in my shopify admin I can only select new theme but the previous one looks to be gone.

It sounds like your previous theme might have been accidentally unpublished or deleted. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Check Published Themes: Go to your Shopify admin, then “Online Store” > “Themes.” Make sure your previous theme isn’t listed under unpublished themes.
  2. Theme Recovery: If it’s not there, it might have been deleted. Contact Shopify support to see if they can recover it.
  3. Backup: In the future, regularly back up theme files by duplicating your theme to avoid accidental losses.
