This order can't be shipped to your location

Yesterday and Today some customers messaging me because they receive this error at checkout.

Nothing was done to the checkout page, shipping zone, or anything. The addresses have been verified and they’re correct. I attempted to checkout with a US address yesterday and it worked.

So what’s the issue here?

All these are giving errors so far when I look at the abandoned checkout page.

Hello,

The problem is likely in the shipping settings.

This guide might be helpful.

So I was able to reproduce the issue.

When a customer select 1 or more items and the total amount is under $100, the issue appears.

When a customer select 1 or more item and the total amount is higher than $100, checkout works fine. I deleted that for now.

That’s great!

You might have minimum order set for that item or group of items. Maybe this can help

I’m on the basic plan so I don’t have that option.

The setup that I previously had is on the screenshot below.

But this has been removed because it blocks customers from checking out because their order is below $100.

This seems like a common problem from what I’ve researched. There are many solutions offered, since some were just from setting things incorrectly to weight limits on shipping which aren’t obvious to fix.

On that screen, select “based on item weight”, then set minimum weight to “0” and leave the maximum weight empty.

The next thing if this doesn’t work would be to go to the new products you added and set their shipping origins for both drop off and delivery.

The other solutions are on this thread → https://community.shopify.com/c/Payments-Shipping-Fulfillment/quot-This-order-can-t-be-shipped-to-your-location-Contact-the/td-p/741608/page/4
