We are getting emails from customers saying they are unable to make a purchase because Shopify is saying the order can’t be shipped to their location.
We have had multiple people try to make a purchase in regions that are all set up for us to ship to, however no matter what address they put in. We have tried it with our own addresses and no luck, it keeps giving that same message.
We are not using a third party app for shipping, and this issue just started happening today. Wondering if we can get some help to resolve this problem as quickly as possible so we can limit the amount of cart abandonments.
We are having the same issue, only some customers, and when I do a mock order, using their address, it does not get the error message. Any help would be appreciated!
I’m happy to hear that I’m not the only one going through this. Realized I wasn’t getting as many sales as usual just to look at my abandoned checkout and see so many sales there. I emailed a few customers and apparently their shipping hasn’t been working either. I’m not sure what is going on because I have the shipping turned on for all states in the U.S.
I found a youtube video (which I cannot find again) and it pointed out it may be something to do with the max weight of orders somewhere in settings. I changed it to not have a limit and lo and behold, haven’t had this problem since.
We’re having the same problem. I can’t get a package shipped to my office location. There are customers that will get 2 items shipped to their location but the client will have 1 item that they are told can’t be shipped to that state. It’s a killer for sales and people get mad and go on facebook, twitter, wherever and get mad their. And, there’s no help from Shopify.
