I just closed my shopify store a few months ago but now I want to rejoin shopify but with a different shopify store but in order to use my same domain i need to transfer it to my new store which I can’t do as I can’t access my admin account on that store as I need to reopen the store in order to do so. Can you plz help me with this much appriciated.

If you have your own domain, you can point it to whatever website you choose in the DNS settings with your domain registration provider.
However, if you only ever used a zyx.myshopify.com type of domain for your website, you will need to reopen your old Shopify account or contact Shopify if you want to continue using it. But that’s not a great looking domain to use publicly.

To clarify, was the domain you were using originally a myshopify.com domain or a custom domain that you purchased? By default, your online store has a myshopify.com URL when you sign up for Shopify. If you want to change the web address that’s displayed to customers while they browse your online store, then you need to use a custom domain, such as [www.example.com](http://www.example.com).
If you were using a custom domain on your original store, then we could look into transferring the domain to your new Shopify store: Transferring Domains. Since you no longer have access to the account, you will need to reach out to our support team to help. Please visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request through live chat, email, or callback. Once you have logged in to your account, type your request in ‘Ask about a topic’, scroll down to ‘Get Support’, and then click ‘Continue.’ From there, you can submit your request to speak with an advisor.
Otherwise, if you were using a Shopify URL (myshopify.com) originally we won’t be able to transfer this to a new store. In that case, it will be best to reopen your old account. Or, you could consider opening a new account and purchasing your desired custom domain.
