Trying to connect facebook but keep getting login error please try again later

Ive tried deleting the app and reinstalling, ive tried connecting on multiple devices and still nothing ive tried has worked. I tried to contact support team and the message wouldnt send to them either

From my understanding, you are unable to connect the Facebook channel to your Shopify admin, is that correct? Can you tell me if you get any error messages? If so, can you provide a screenshot, so I can have a closer look? Any additional context would be most helpful here.

That being said, as you mentioned that you are unable to get in touch with live support, to me this sounds like a browser or device issue. Can you try some of the below troubleshooting steps for me in order to isolate the issue further:

  • Clear your cache and cookies on your browser. After this, completely reboot the browser.
  • Try a different web browser, as well as incognito or private windows to rule out any browser issues.
  • When using incognito, if you’re still experiencing a delay, confirm you have disabled browser extensions, as these can change how pages function and look.
  • Ensure your web browser is up-to-date on the latest version (we don’t support every browser, but we do support these here).
  • Try another device like a computer or mobile phone.
  • Try on the Shopify Mobile App; this is typically the best step to try, as it will rule out any browser issues.
  • Ensure you do not have any firewalls or pop up blockers enabled on your device, as these can interfere.
  • Try a different Wi-Fi or cellular connection.
