Hello All,
I know I am missing the elephant, but I am having a hard time updating my paid for theme. I have reached out to the developer but was unhelpful. I have copied the code from the settings_data.json and then proceeded to copy the index.json file but I got warning issues and the copy did not go through. Other than manually rebuilding the whole site again, anyone has any ideas as to what I can do in order to get my customizations copied over? Thank you

If you don’t want to rebuild the entire site again, then the easiest way to update the theme would be to copy and paste the custom snippets of code from your apps or customizations. If you need help with this task, then we’d recommend reviewing our guide here: Updating themes. Should you require further assistance with updating the theme, then you can also consider hiring a developer to assist you with the third-party theme.
