Without warning or a request for any documentation, my Shopify payment payouts were put on hold. I contacted the Shopify support agent (ticket number 44465348), and i was told that i will receive an email from the payment team in 3 business days. However, It’s been over 20 days now and I haven’t received any emails from them. I’m very frustrated, I need to pay the supplier, and I don’t know what to do now, could anybody help me with this?

How did you solve this? I have been having this issue since middle of March. I find this unethical, un professional and counterproductive for both sides. I am receiving payouts from STRIPE to same BANK Account SHOPIFY has.

I 've contaced shopify support everyday for the past 10 days. I need help ASAP. ticket ID 47102761. Im a small brick and motar boutique and they are now holding over $70,000. How is this Legal?
We don’t have quite as much tied up, but we’ve been on hold for almost 3 months now and I haven’t even received initial correspondence. The customer “support” chat can’t tell you anything about your position in queue and just assure you it will be processed eventually. It almost forced us to close completely as my business is relatively new and didn’t have the floating capital to have thousands of dollars tied up in a hold I can’t resolve.
Hi, my situation has changed, and now my payouts came back. I think that the thing they must do it is to notify clients about this. If they do that it would be more acceptable and easier to understand.

I’ve been waiting for my payout for over 120 days now! They haven’t given me any updates they just fully on deleted my store as if it never existed and every time I talk to their “team” they don’t resolve anything and tell me to wait more. Like um it’s been over 120 days!
