I made a purchase on October 22nd for 65.95€ for a a Modern Crib from MILU BRAND apparently based in Canada and which publicity for this crib was all over Social Media (so I trusted to make the purchase). Last update in their website regarding my order it was on the 24th stated it was sent, and since I didn’t get a tracking number, I contacted the brand a few times trough emails, and the answer was: “no estimated delivery time due to a delay with the supplier, and no tracking number” and the estimated delivery was between Nov. 5th and 13th. There’s no more updates and the Item is also no longer in Stock at the store anymore. Even thought they reply the emails there is no solution. So on Nov 20th I requested a return/refund, and they answer the next day with the same answer: “We’re actively working on your request and will keep you updated with any progress as soon as possible”. They took the money out of my credit card, but now more than 10 business days have passed and I still haven’t received my money back. I still haven’t been able to buy a new crib because I’m missing that money in order to do so.
So can I get a solution from Shopify. I suppose you check backgrounds from the vendors who wants to work through your name, so buyers don’t get scammed.
