What are the best shipping settings for US-only dropshipping?

Hello,

I am new to Shopify and I wonder what shipping settings I should use if:
I am shipping within the USA only;
I use a dropshipping agent, and not shipping from my physical address, which is in Europe.

I am not looking to calculate any rates yet, just to do the initial setup.

Go to Settings > Shipping and Delivery in your Shopify admin.

Then either create a shipping profile, or click Manage if you already have one.

In that profile you’ll create a Shipping Zone for the United States only, then assign your products to that zone. You can also edit the ship from address there.

Thank you for the suggestion!
The only thing that I wonder about is that I am not shipping FROM that address, as I am using dropshiping. Does it appear anywhere on documents and shall I leave it?

You can choose the address to ship from, but in any case I would set it up then place a test order so you can see the customer experience. That’s a good habit to get into anyway, regularly “being the customer” to see how your flows work as your business evolves.
