What is going on with the support chat?

I have literally been waiting for weeks to get a response from support. All while continually being told “Usually less than 5 min” at the top of the chat. It’s laughable. I have restarted the session several times. As clearly no advisor is getting back to me, is there any possible way for me to reach out via email as a basic plan customer?

Also try a different browser or clear the cache.

If working with a partner/expert ask them to reach out on your behalf to establish a discussion.

But yes it’s laughable, shopify’s trying to be an “AI first” company and in recent times had mass layoff of support personnel.

Meanwhile they still gonna be collecting money from you.

To be reductive make be sure your not mis-reading “AI” nonsense.
That you are in an actual que, after seeking a real support-advisor or human etc keywords in chat.
And this isn’t the “AI” saying “Sure thing! The queues are 5 mintues!”
