Hi, When autoplay is enabled in video, i am not able to hear the sound of the video. It is not muted. How to fix this issue. Anybody please guide me. I am using this coding.
When i am using controls in video tag, i can hear the sound. but i don’t want the controls. The video has to autoplay without controls. Thanks.
Where do you want to add this video? Is it one of the sections on your homepage or within one of the pages? Also, what theme do you use?
The sound playing is not actually determined by the embedding but by the browser used to visit the site and the user’s personal preference.
For example, Google Chrome will prevent sound from playing by default unless otherwise specified by the user. This is why sound doesn’t typically play without user intervention - i.e., pressing play on the video. Read more about Google Chrome audio playback settings change here.
Remember, each browser will have its default settings, and the end user must adjust those to have audio automatically play when visiting your website. Disabling audio autoplay is usually the preferred default setting and will provide the best user experience for your customers.
Another idea might be to focus on the visuals that will auto-play in the background to encourage your visitors and enable audio. You could also use the homepage to display messages via text that you want to communicate through your audio.
By the way, I don’t know if you have anything planned for BFCM this year, but now is the time to make some preparations.
